Biography

Julie is a Legal Practitioner and an Accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner.  Julie has gained valuable experience and knowledge working with government services and in private practice, undertaking family and domestic violence law and family dispute mediation.

Julie began her career in the Medical and Health industry then moving to the management of pharmaceutical research within both the government and private sector.  Whist undertaking a Bachelor of Laws, Julie attended Bond University and gained her qualifications in Family Dispute Resolution becoming an accredited FDRP. Following this she practiced within the Family Relationship Centre model, working closely with clients mediating parenting disputes.  Julie brings this experience to her work assisting clients in high conflict co-parenting relationships and property matters.

Whilst practicing across all areas of family law and domestic violence law, parenting matters are of particular interest.  Julie applies her significant court experience in the Domestic Violence Court to client matters for both DV applicants and respondents.

High value is placed on working holistically with clients across the legal issues, whilst encouraging child focus, conflict reduction and resolution.  Litigation is a last resort, but when required Julie provides an efficient, supportive and creative approach which continues to focus on dispute resolution and outcomes that provide a positive new beginning for her clients.

Julie enjoys spending time with her family and friends and has lived in rural Northern NSW for many years and understands the diversity of the community within the region.  Julie practices from both the Regional NSW offices and the Gold Coast office.
