Steve leads Salerno Law’s Estates team and is a Senior Associate with extensive experience dealing with matters in every state and territory in Australia.
Steve has a keen interest in Industrial Relations law having drafted, reviewed, and negotiated many general and bespoke commercial agreements, including employment and contractor agreements, share sale agreements, terms and conditions documents, waivers, and disclaimers. Steve has extensive experience in providing advice to employers and employees respectively on post-employment restraints, including the validity and enforceability of non-compete, non-solicitation, and intellectual property clauses, among others. Steve’s experience spans from small and medium-sized businesses on rights, legal obligations, and risks in relation to terminating employees and contractors and making relevant employees redundant and the risks associated with the same.
Moreover, Steve is accustomed to dealing with unfair dismissal and general provision applications made under the Fair Work Act and has appeared in numerous matters for disgruntled employees and employers with a view to obtaining positive and commercially acceptable outcomes for all parties.
